Hello and welcome to http://writeasync.net!
My name is Brian Rogers and I’ve been a tester/developer in some professional capacity since 2001. On this blog I will be expounding on various technical topics that I don’t see covered much elsewhere — test design, coding standards, and (as the domain name implies) asynchronous programming, to list a few.
Since 2003, I’ve worked primarily in C# so the content will lean heavily in the .NET direction. That said, I’m known to use C++, PowerShell, and even Perl on occasion so I’ll probably find a way to sneak those in.
I go into this blog adventure mostly to record and organize my thoughts, and as a way to practice approachable technical writing. But if the material here helps someone then I consider that an added bonus. Feedback from the community is even better and I welcome the chance to learn something from my thus far theoretical audience.
Thanks for reading,
Brian <brian@writeasync.net>
